Honey Crisps and Red Skins

Our favorite eating apple in all the world is the Honey Crisp (not the cereal, the APPLE!) It is both--honey sweet AND crisp with just the right amount of tartness. Rebecca went online and found an orchard that had them. We went. It's in Virginia. Brendon drove. It was worth it!

They also have peaches. We sampled the Crested somethings and the Red Skins. The Red Skins won.

The name of the orchard was Marker Miller.

And plums.

Mary Deane loved the swing.
It was a tidy orchard. (They also had apple cider donuts. "They were GOOD!" and the Joneses treated us to peach ice cream. mmmmm!)
