Trip to Coast-e-koh aka COSTCO

For a trip to Costco we bring our own bags, our own shopping cart and sturdy walking shoes. Sister Knudsen [above] just outside our parking garage.

Whew! We did it. We not only carried our purchases up and down the stairs in the subway stations and to and from, but we also carried them up our apartment stairs because the elevator is being repaired.

This is my favorite part of Coast-e-koh. It is an escalator without stairs that is also magnetic. You drive the cart on to it and it instantly locks into place. Costco is on two floors with parking underground and parking on the roof, so a conveyerlator is a great invention!

Those Koreans are a step ahead, aren't they? I love it. You guys are going to be even skinnier when you get back from all your walking!

It's interesting to learn the everyday differences between cultures isn't it?

An conveyalator in the store? Cool! I want to shop there just to go on that thing.
