Elder Yung Will Teach Us Korean

We go to the MTC Monday at 1:00pm to begin being tutored in Korean!
Elder Yung, a native Korean will be our instructor. I asked him if they had Preach My Gospel in Romanized Korean. He laughed and said, "yes". He also said our mission, Seoul West, is beautiful.
In talking with Maria, the sister who is in charge of language tutoring the senior couples, said it is a fallacy that older people can't learn a new language. They just learn it differently. We will be given assignments in class and told how to study using CDs and then will practice at home and then come back to class with any questions and demonstrate our homework.
Young people learn a language best in a classroom.

Sounds like your hitting the ground running! This will be so fun to "watch". Will you be able to keep us informed via your blog while on your mission? That would be so fantastic. Good luck on MOnday!

They're pretty lenient with the "Seniors" so I think we will be able to do a "Seoul Blog"

That is so exciting you can learn this language together and help each other with it. What a great experience!
