Changing How We Eat

This building was under construction when we arrived in Korea. It is now completed and it was built next to Sindorim, our subway station. It is used solely for parking bicycles. As far as we can ascertain there is no charge to park your bike inside, out of the elements. Nice.
Couldn't resist buying a bag of these petite potatoes.
Red curried baby potatoes with mystery greens(don't know what they are, but they have a mild watercress flavor)carrots, onions, tofu and broccoli.

We are on a 6 month experiment. Little or no meat, animal protein, cheese, milk, eggs. And lots of whole grains, vegetables and fruits. It is based on D&C89 and The China Study, a book by T. Collin Campbell. His premise is that all the diseases of affluence, i.e. coronary disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis and others increase in a population as they embrace a western diet "rich" in meat, milk, cream, butter, cheese, and eggs. I recommend reading both.

We'd like to try your experiment. Probably not for 6 months....
