They are putting in a new sidewalk from our house to the subway. The curb is thick granite and then the pavers are colored cement placed on a sand base. I'm intrigued by the yellow stripe down the center. That is a common sight. I wonder if that indicates where the power lines are located.

The mayor of Seoul had this river excavated and landscaped in a busy downtown area. It sure is gorgeous. Now he is the President of South Korea.

That is how it is in Japan.
