The Young Ones Going to Korea

No, we aren't the young ones going to Korea, but we did meet them Friday night at the MTC. Our tutor, Byun Young Un also teaches a district of 8 Elders and 2 Sisters who will leaving for Korea on October 13th along with us. 6 of them will be going to our mission, including the 2 Sisters. We introduced ourselves and gave a spiritual thought and took Korean treats-- a rice drink with floating kernels of rice and some coconut cookies and some giant puffed rice with sesame seeds that are similar to styrofoam peanuts. We found the treats at a Korean grocery store in Orem. We are excited to be able to serve with these "young ones" in Seoul West. They speak the language like locals already and their spirits are strong!
