Recommended Reading

Just finished reading this book on Lydia Knight, published in 1883. Newel and Lydia are my relatives. They were the first couple to be married by Joseph Smith. She is  amazing. Crossed the plains with 7 children, after her husband died. Lynn and Dick loaned me the book. It belonged to Lynn's mother, Virginia Driggs Clark.

Is that what you're doing with your free time? Sounds productive enough!

Yes what I wouldn't give to just have the time for reading! But alas, even if I had the time, I would probably be too stuck admiring the type on the front and the fun tattered pages...

What a blessing to have that record and be able to read it. Can I come crawl up on your lap and hear the stories?
