Merry Christmas from Korea!

We celebrated Christmas here in Korea by hosting 22 missionaries from the KangSeo Zone. We started with a white elephant gift exchange. The least popular gift was 30 packets of pumpkin soup. Among the most popular was a t-shirt, a toy gun, a Korean Airlines model plane, and PlayDough. Dinner consisted of chili, baked potatoes, A&W Root Beer, potato chips and dip, crudites with flourless chocolate chip cookies and fresh from the oven Danish Pastry. We sang Christmas carols, watched Home Alone, I hugged the Elders and Sister Knudsen hugged the Sisters. Each companionship got a cell phone from the Zone Leaders. Then we bundled up and went to the Sindorim Subway station and sang more Christmas carols where we had a constant audience of between 200-300 people listening, taking pictures and taking 3000+ pamphlets and 40 copies of the Book of Mormon. It was a merry Christmas!
